Summer is Here

Well this summer i have so many goals and things i would love to do. Besides working for tuition money and saving what i can, giving has been really placed on my heart. Not just money but of myself. CMC is reading Primal by Mark Batterson as a summer assignment, and it is life changing to know what we can do. So many times we think that we can't make an impact but we can. I don't have a big income at all but i have one and you know what that means...i can give.
I would really like to really talk to people about god, to really pour my heart out to them. Not to just say hey, but to be a life changer. That this summer isn't a summer of fun but of change.
Recently i received a letter from one of the girls from my home church and it reminded me of what god has for me. I forgot how i met her and how it all started. She reminded me that two people went up and talked to her when she sat alone, i was one of them, that i was persistent and didn't stop. Now she is a youth leader in our church and is going to college for music and ministry. God use me to change her life, not by what i can do but by him....knowing we both love art and that would change lives. That she is now impacting girls lives and they will one day do it also how amazing. Getting that reminder of who god has called me to be has really opened my eyes to know that even when we forget he will always remind us.
God is so amazing and merciful, without his grace i wouldn't make it through. I love knowing that when i fall he is there helping me back up and that there is no way i could stay down with god on my side.
This summer is going to be life changing because god i the focus. I will talk to someone each week about God, i will give what i can, i will make people smile and i will love with all my heart.
I don't want to sit back any more i want to know that god is using someone like me to change the world!
